Soccer Recap: Otsego Comes Up Short

Otsego was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fort Jennings Musketeers. If Otsego were looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to Fort Jennings when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rafael Lopez wasn't going to let Fort Jennings walk away unscathed as he scored both of Otsego's goals, bringing his season total up to 16 goals.

Otsego's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Fort Jennings, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4-3 record this season.
