Oakton has gone a perfect 3-0 against James Madison recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Cougars will take on the Warhawks at 6:30 p.m. Oakton is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 11 games.

On Tuesday, Oakton made easy work of Westfield and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Oakton not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Westfield between 16 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 25-18.

Meanwhile, James Madison earned a 3-1 win over Centreville on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Warhawks in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-12. As for Oakton, their victory bumped their record up to 16-2.

Everything went Oakton's way against James Madison when the teams last played back in September, as Oakton made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
