Baseball Recap: Anahuac Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Anahuac faced off against Orangefield on Friday. The Panthers fell 8-3 to the Bobcats. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Lane Hall made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Anahuac: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-7 otherwise.

Anahuac's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Orangefield, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-5.
