Basketball Recap: Stanton Comes Up Short

Stanton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the New Deal Lions 71-32.

Stanton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for New Deal, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stanton will take on Coahoma at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for New Deal, they will welcome Post at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
