Softball Recap: Sherman Takes a Loss

Sherman was the 3-2 winner over Midland Trail when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Tide took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots on Tuesday.

Sherman saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lexie Lowe, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Sherman's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Midland Trail, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season.

Sherman has already played their next game (against Man), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Midland Trail, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Greenbrier West on the 23rd.
