Football Recap: Nash Central Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Nash Central had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 13-5 to the SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars on Friday. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 34-28 to the Cougars when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Winston Lee threw for 70 yards on six of 12 attempts.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nash Central will head out to take on Northern Nash at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for SouthWest Edgecombe, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Hertford County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
