Basketball Recap: Oakman Comes Up Short

Oakman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They were beaten by the Carbon Hill Bulldogs 65-24. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 42-19 back in December of 2024.

Oakman's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Carbon Hill, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season.

Oakman has already played their next contest (against Hamilton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Carbon Hill will be playing at home against Jasper at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
