Millville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the Haddon Heights Garnets. On the bright side, the ten- run effort marked the Thunderbolts' highest-scoring contest to date.

Millville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Haddon Heights, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Millville will take on Buena at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Haddon Heights, they will welcome Pennsville Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
