Fresno Christian has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will venture away from home to take on the Cate Rams at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Fresno Christian is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of California's top teams: Santa Clarita Christian, who was ranked tenth in their home state at the time (Fresno Christian was ranked sixth). Fresno Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tycen Ramirez out in front who rushed for 66 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 189 yards and a touchdown. Joshua Kubota was Ramirez's top target, picking up 91 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Jacob Gabbay had an outrageously good game as he picked up 138 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Quinn Pullen was in the mix too, providing Cate with two touchdowns.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Cate's defense and their five sacks. Leading the way was Davey Rissel with three.

Fresno Christian's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. As for Cate, their record is now 2-0.
