Basketball Recap: Trinity Episcopal Comes Up Short

Trinity Episcopal lost against St. Stephen's & St. Agnes back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Titans lost 67-46 to the Saints. The contest marked the Titans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Julian Burgdolf had a dynamite game For St. Stephen's & St. Agnes., shooting 47% from the field en route to 16 points along with eight assists and six steals. Devin Ainsworth was another key player, putting up 13 points and three steals.

This is the second loss in a row for Trinity Episcopal and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for St. Stephen's & St. Agnes, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Episcopal will host Catholic on Tuesday. The Titans will need to watch out since the Crusaders have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for St. Stephen's & St. Agnes, they will welcome Saint John Paul the Great Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
