Volleyball Recap: Dobson Gets the Win

Dobson proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Shadow Ridge Stallions 3-2. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Stallions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2025.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Dobson got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-21, 22-25, 25-20, 23-25, 15-11.

The victory got Dobson back to even at 2-2. As for Shadow Ridge, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Dobson will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Cesar Chavez at 5:30 p.m. on the 24th. As for Shadow Ridge, they will be taking part in a tournament against Millennium at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
