Volleyball Recap: White River Valley Gets the Win

White River Valley posted their closest victory since September 12, 2024 on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Parke Heritage Wolves.

White River Valley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-20, 15-6.

Hailey Grover paced White River Valley's offense, picking up 17 kills. Grover got some help from Evelyn Abrams and her 29 assists.

Parke Heritage lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kendall Mckinney, who had seven digs and one assist.

White River Valley's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Parke Heritage, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-8.

White River Valley has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against South Vermillion on the 27th. As for Parke Heritage, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Greencastle on the 27th.
