Baseball Recap: Ponderosa Takes a Loss

Ponderosa lost against Arapahoe back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Ponderosa fell just short of Arapahoe by a score of 4-3.

Ponderosa got a good showing from Kyle Redman, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. That one hit allowed gave Redman a new career-low.

On the hitting side, Isai Santaella made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three doubles, one run, and one RBI. Those three doubles gave him a new career-high.

Ponderosa's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Arapahoe, their record is now 5-3.

Looking ahead, Ponderosa will be playing at home against Denver East at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arapahoe, they will head out to face off against Mountain Vista at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
