Basketball Game Preview: Madison-Grant Argylls vs. Muncie Burris Owls

The Madison-Grant Argylls will square off against the Muncie Burris Owls at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Madison-Grant has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Madison-Grant fought the good fight in their overtime game against Daleville on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 71-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Broncos. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (63), the Argylls still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Muncie Burris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by Blackford 63-29. While losing is never fun, the Owls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 442nd, while the Bruins are ranked 199th).

Madison-Grant's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Muncie Burris, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-20.

Madison-Grant took their win against Muncie Burris when the teams last played on Tuesday by a conclusive 63-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Madison-Grant since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
