League recap: Kellyville wins, gets boost in standings

3A District 6 recap September 17, 2013

Kellyville was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from sixth to third in 3A District 6. The Ponies vanquished Caney Valley 20-0 earlier in the week.

Beggs scaled the state rankings by moving to 39 from 80 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Demons climbed the ranks as a result of beating Sequoyah 47-33.

Victory Christian's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Keats Calhoon threw for 188 and 3 touchdowns and PJ McLachlan had 74 yards receiving. On the ground Jalen Wood chipped in 95 yards.
