Baseball Recap: Negaunee Miners vs. Hancock Bulldogs
After losing to Hancock the last time they met, Negaunee decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Miners blew past the Bulldogs 8-2 on Saturday. Considering the Miners have won three games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Negaunee got a great performance from Carsen Belanger as he tossed 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave Belanger a new career-high in strikeouts (four).
On the hitting side, Jack Siik and Ian Engstrom did most of the damage at the plate: Siik got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles, while Engstrom went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
