Basketball Recap: Bucyrus Takes a Loss

Bucyrus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 73-42 loss at the hands of the Colonel Crawford Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Redmen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 806th, while the Eagles are ranked 99th).

Bucyrus' defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Colonel Crawford, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Bucyrus will challenge Wynford at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Colonel Crawford, they will be playing at home against Carey at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
