Chattanooga Central is still winless after their game against Red Bank on Tuesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Red Bank Lions. One positive for the Pounders, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Isaac Garcia was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That run marked the first that he scored this season. Houston Boykin was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Chattanooga Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Red Bank, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Chattanooga Central has already played their next matchup, a 10-9 win against Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences on the 14th. As for Red Bank, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-2 defeat against Silverdale Academy on the 13th.
