Volleyball Recap: Westview Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Westview lost against South Gibson two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chargers fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 3-2. While the Chargers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hornets 25-21 in the first set.

Westview took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-23, 19-25, 25-22, 15-5.

Westview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for South Gibson, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-5.

Westview and South Gibson could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. The Chargers will face off against Gibson County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (284 vs. 140). Meanwhile, South Gibson (ranked 202nd) will meet Dyer County (ranked 26th) at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
