Recap: Christoval Cougars vs. Reagan County Owls
The Christoval Cougars had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They breezed by Reagan County at home to the tune of 42-13. The win was just what Christoval needed coming off of a 46-0 defeat in their prior contest.
Christoval can attribute much of their success to Ethan Busch, who rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown. Busch was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 50 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Edmiston, who rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown.
Christoval's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Reagan County's QB won't forget Eli Burchett anytime soon given Burchett sacked him twice.
Christoval's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Reagan County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.
Christoval does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Reagan County also has no future games currently scheduled.
