Volleyball Recap: Summit Christian Academy Comes Up Short

If Summit Christian Academy was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Bishop Reicher Catholic last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles came up short against the Valor Preparatory Academy Knights on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost three in a row.

Summit Christian Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19, 25-23.

Summit Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2-1. As for Valor Preparatory Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-10-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Summit Christian Academy will challenge Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valor Preparatory Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Austin Waldorf at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
