Volleyball Preview: Eden Christian Academy vs. Bishop Canevin Crusaders        
        
		
             Eden Christian Academy has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Bishop Canevin Crusaders at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Tuesday,  everything went Eden Christian Academy's way against Brentwood as Eden Christian Academy made off with  a  3-0 win.
 Eden Christian Academy was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20,  25-10.
 Eden Christian Academy relied on the efforts of   Alexis Fowler, who  had 18  digs, and   Erin Hull, who  had five  digs and three  aces. Hull has been hot recently, having  posted two or more  aces the last six times she's  played.
 Eden Christian Academy  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 11  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least six  aces in 20 consecutive  matches  dating back to last season.
 Meanwhile, Bishop Canevin had just enough and edged Serra Catholic out  3-2 on Thursday.
 If you add up the scores from across all five sets (110-101) Bishop Canevin actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22, 23-25, 10-25,  18-16.
  Ayla Altman had a dynamite game for Bishop Canevin,  getting 31  digs.
 Eden Christian Academy pushed their record up to 15-1 with the  victory, which was their 14th straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Bishop Canevin, their win  ended  a  six-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 5-5.
