Basketball Recap: Thorne Bay Comes Up Short

Thorne Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 26th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 72-37 defeat at the hands of the Kake Thunderbirds. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alaska basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while the Thunderbirds are ranked 26th).

Thorne Bay's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Kake, the win keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.

As of now, neither Thorne Bay nor Kake have any future games scheduled.
