Football Recap: Hutchinson-Central Tech/Emerson Vo-Tech/City Honors Takes a Loss

Hutchinson-Central Tech/Emerson Vo-Tech/City Honors was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 20-19 heartbreaker at the hands of the Frontier Falcons. If the Engineers were looking for revenge after losing 28-14 to the Falcons when the teams met back in October of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hutchinson-Central Tech/Emerson Vo-Tech/City Honors' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Frontier, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hutchinson-Central Tech/Emerson Vo-Tech/City Honors will face off against Jamestown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Frontier, they will take on Williamsville North at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
