The dominant performance gave him a new career- in rushing yards. Foothill also got a significant boost from Nathan Gouvion, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 119 yards.
Troy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Foothill, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Friday's game might be decided in the trenches. Troy has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 250.7 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Foothill struggles in that department as they've been averaging 194.3. It's looking like Friday's matchup might have some serious battles in the trenches.
Troy might still be hurting after the 44-18 loss they got from Foothill in their previous meeting back in September of 2023. Thankfully for Troy, Aaron Mitchell (who rushed for 170 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
