Volleyball Recap: Oroville Comes Up Short

Oroville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Quincy Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Oroville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Quincy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Oroville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Las Plumas on the 16th. As for Quincy, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Modoc on the 16th.
