Volleyball Game Preview: Manti Templars vs. Emery Spartans

Manti is 2-8 against Emery since August of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Templars will head out on the road to take on the Spartans at 6:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Manti lost 3-0 to North Sanpete on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-11, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Emery came up short against Copper Hills on Saturday, falling 3-0.

Emery's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Manti, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.

Manti was able to grind out a solid victory over Emery when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Templars since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
