Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bishop Watterson). They were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the St. Francis DeSales Stallions on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Stallions: they've now won nine in a row.
Kaitlyn Scholl was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Bishop Watterson got a massive performance out of Grace Mayhan, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple.
