Volleyball Recap: Richmond Takes a Loss

Richmond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Greenfield-Central Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Devils of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-14, 25-27, 25-20.

Richmond's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Greenfield-Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Richmond wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against New Castle on the 28th. As for Greenfield-Central, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Eastern Hancock on the 28th.
