Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Patrick). They never let the Kemper County Wildcats get on the board and left with a 22-0 victory on Wednesday. The Fighting Irish might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by nine runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Sophia Oehms, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Mackenzye Stapp, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

St. Patrick pushed their record up to 15-10 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Kemper County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10-1.

As of now, neither St. Patrick nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
