Volleyball Recap: Wheatland-Grinnell Victorious

The Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks beat the Stockton Tigers 2-0 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Thunderhawks.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Wheatland-Grinnell was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12.

Aliviah Ball paced Wheatland-Grinnell's offense, picking up 11 kills. Ball got some help from Evangeline Godek and her 24 assists. Natalie Bixenman controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Wheatland-Grinnell's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Stockton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Wheatland-Grinnell has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Hill City on the 20th. As for Stockton, they will challenge Thunder Ridge on Tuesday.
