Basketball Game Preview: Little Wound Mustangs vs. Rapid City Christian Comets

Having just played yesterday, the Little Wound Mustangs will jump right back in to play the Rapid City Christian Comets at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday. Little Wound knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Rapid City Christian likes a good challenge.

Little Wound saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They came out on top against Lower Brule by a score of 58-50.

Meanwhile, Rapid City Christian took their contest on Wednesday with ease, bagging an 80-34 win over Santee. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Comets.

Little Wound's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Rapid City Christian, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Little Wound was dealt a bruising 89-45 loss at the hands of Rapid City Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Little Wound avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
