Southwest Guilford had won seven straight home games and Charlotte Bliven did her part to make it eight on Tuesday. The Cowboys blew past the Page Pirates 3-0 with plenty of help from Bliven, who had six digs and two aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more aces the last 13 times she's played.

Southwest Guilford never let Page on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-22, 25-20.

Several Pirates players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Isabelle Snyder, who had 13 digs and three assists. Another player making a difference was Goergia Pope, who had 12 assists and eight digs.

Southwest Guilford's victory bumped their record up to 17-10. As for Page, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8.

Southwest Guilford has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Grimsley on the 15th. As for Page, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against A.L. Brown on the 18th.
