Volleyball Recap: Neighborhood Academy's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Neighborhood Academy came into Friday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Calvary Chapel Christian Lions with a sharp 3-0 win on Friday. The Bulldogs were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Lions, so the Bulldogs were just returning the favor.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-20, 25-14.

Neighborhood Academy now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Calvary Chapel Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Neighborhood Academy will venture away from home to challenge Winchester Thurston at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Calvary Chapel Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Geibel Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on October 14.
