Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Santa Ana). They put the hurt on the Valencia Tigers with a sharp 11-2 win on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Santa Ana's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-9-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for Valencia, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Santa Ana will have a chance to go back-to-back against Valencia: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
