Basketball Recap: MacArthur Comes Up Short

MacArthur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 49-37 to the Lawton Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 85-36 on Tuesday.

MacArthur's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lawton, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. MacArthur and Newcastle will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lawton will take on Carl Albert in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
