Football Recap: Cinco Ranch Comes Up Short on the Road Against the Woodlands + How To Watch

Cinco Ranch had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were beaten by The Woodlands Highlanders 27-0. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 246th, while the Highlanders are ranked 28th).

Davis Roup threw for 60 yards on 13 of 23 attempts. On the ground, Marcus Gadlin rushed for 51 yards.

Cinco Ranch will take on Tomball at 7:30 p.m. on the 5th. As for The Woodlands, they will face off against Deer Park at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th.
