Volleyball Recap: KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate Finds Playoff Glory Versus University Park

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over University Park. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate's got stronger as the match went on, holding University Park to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17, 25-8.

Anabel Serrano paced KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate's offense, picking up five kills. Serrano got some help from Andrea De Leon and her 14 assists. Emily Diaz controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for University Park, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.
