Beloit had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Republic County Buffaloes as they made off with a 16-1 victory. Considering the Trojans have won 12 matchups by more than eight runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Beloit's win bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Republic County, they are on an 18-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Looking ahead, Beloit will venture away from home to face off against Clay Center on Thursday. Republic County will be paying especially close attention to the Trojans' game: after the Trojans face off against Lyons, they'll take on Republic County again on Monday.
