Skidmore-Tynan has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.84 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They put the hurt on the Yorktown Wildcats with a sharp 24-10 win. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won 15 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Skidmore-Tynan's victory bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Yorktown, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Skidmore-Tynan will host Kenedy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 9.5 runs per game this season. Yorktown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
