Softball Recap: Williams Takes a Loss

Williams fell victim to Orange and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Orange Panthers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Williams' defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Orange, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Williams will be playing in front of their home fans against Eastern Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Orange, they will venture away from home to square off against Cedar Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar Ridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.4 runs per game this season.
