Carrizo Springs extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Giada Gonzalez. The Wildcats blew past the Pleasanton Eagles 3-0 on Friday thanks in part to Gonzalez, who had 22 assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more assists the last three times she's played.

One reason for the win was Carrizo Springs' just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 25-19.

Carrizo Springs' victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Pleasanton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.
