Centaurus put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the Poudre Impalas with points to spare, taking the game 58-43. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Impalas are ranked 138th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Centaurus was led to victory by Faya Tolno and Finn Glaser. Tolno shot 56% from the field to rack up 11 points along with six assists and four steals, while Glaser posted eight points and five steals. Those five steals gave Glaser a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jt Falzone, who scored nine points.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Centaurus was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Poudre only racked up seven.

Poudre lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Noah Pisculich, who put up 11 points. Blake Brewster was another key player, putting up eight points.

Centaurus' victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Poudre, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Centaurus has already played their next game, a 54-52 win against Standley Lake on the 13th. As for Poudre, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 71-62 loss against Discovery Canyon on the 13th.
