Volleyball Recap: ThunderRidge Comes Up Short

ThunderRidge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Douglas County Huskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Grizzlies of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 25-15.

Oliver Schaefers paced ThunderRidge's offense, picking up six kills. Schaefers got some help from Aidan Edinger and his eight assists.

ThunderRidge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Douglas County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. ThunderRidge will challenge rival Highlands Ranch at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Douglas County is set to face off against their familiar foe Rock Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
