Softball Game Preview: Saltillo Tigers vs. Grenada Chargers

The Saltillo Tigers will face off against the Grenada Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Saltillo lost 13-2 to Mooreville on Friday.

Saltillo saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Skelton, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Grenada has relied on a stalwart pitcher averaging 3.38 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They came up short against South Panola, falling 15-0. It was the first time this season that the Chargers let down their fans at home.

Saltillo now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Grenada, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8.
