Volleyball Recap: Tamalpais Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Tamalpais can now relate to. They fell just short of the Berkeley Yellowjackets by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Tamalpais actually scored more points across those five sets (105-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20, 21-25, 13-25, 15-12.

Tamalpais' loss dropped their record down to 21-11. As for Berkeley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Tamalpais does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Berkeley, they will head out on the road to square off against Carondelet at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
