Carlyle unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 9-5 to the Centralia Orphans on Monday. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Carlyle struggled afterwards.

They hit Centralia with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Caden Loepker (2), Austin Johnson, Jayden Voss, and Jackson Davison.
