Basketball Recap: Central Valley Christian Academy Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Central Valley Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They strolled past the Liberty Baptist Eagles with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 44-30.

Nick Burkholder and Caden Marshall certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Burkholder posted 15 points, while Marshall put up 13 points. That was a full 43.3% of Liberty Baptist's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Central Valley Christian Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Liberty Baptist, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-8.

Central Valley Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Liberty Baptist, they will take on Varsity Opponent at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday.
