Florence put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They snuck past the Snowflake Lobos with a 66-62 victory. Given the Gophers' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 39th, while the Lobos are ranked 170th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Florence found their leader in sophomore Brody Ramirez, who went 11 for 21 on his way to 30 points and six rebounds. Adrian Taufaasau was another key player, going 7 of 11 on his way to 15 points.

Florence's win bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Snowflake, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-5 record.

Florence will head out to square off against Seton Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Florence's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matchups. As for Snowflake, they will take on Alchesay at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Alchesay is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.2 points per game this season.
