Basketball Recap: North Hills Comes Up Short

North Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-48 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fox Chapel Foxes. The match was a 22-22 toss-up at halftime, but the Indians couldn't quite close it out.

John Rehak was nothing short of spectacular for Fox Chapel: he dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave Rehak a new career-high in rebounds. Asher White was another key player, going 5 for 12 on his way to 16 points.

North Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Fox Chapel, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.

North Hills has already played their next contest (against North Allegheny), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Fox Chapel will welcome New Castle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
